The Building Archives was founded by engineering practice Elliott Wood and is part of their commitment to engineer a better society.

As the built environment shifts from demolish and replace to adapt and reuse, The Building Archive empowers architects, engineers, and landowners to maximise the potential of existing building stock.

By understanding existing assets, we can maximise their potential — extending, refurbishing, and repurposing and, hopefully, minimising the inclination to start anew.

Our platform is currently hosts records from the Bylander Waddell Partnerships, Clarke Nicholls Marcel (CNM) and Foggo Associates.

As a living archive, our collection continues to grow, adding new and modern data to the platform.

We also welcome inquiries from practices to host their archives on the platform.
